Good news & bad news
Spring has arrived with a bang today in the Scottish Borders, it’s currently 13 degrees celsius and sunny, conditions not seen in these parts since autumn 2024. It is therefore a perfect day to get out and about with the camera, however in further good news I’ve finally had a small operation to sort an issue that has followed me for the last few years. This brings us to the bad news. I’m stuck in the garden watching the buzzards sweep the hillside opposite and not out with the camera, I don’t think the super zoom lens I’m slowly saving for would even catch the buzzards from this distance. Tomorrow lunchtime I pass the advised driving “ban” so perhaps I’ll take the car out to find a sunset over a nearby loch. Otherwise, as with much of the winter, I’ll dream of spring and summer trips yet to come and do a (gentle) dance to the gods of good light.
